Something Different

Time for something a little different for an artist I've become a pretty big fan of, Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover. I've put a bunch of his tracks up in the past couple months because I honestly think that he is one of the most skilled writers the music industry has. Last night Adult Swim played this bump after Family Guy and Donald threw it up on his soundcloud. It's from back when he was in college and it's just kind of an interesting sounding melody. It's a laid back, happy electro track, the samples are kind of weird, it's from before he rapped and made more electronic stuff like his mc DJ project where he took a Sufjan Stevens album and remixed the whole thing. Might not be for everyone but I find it kind of interesting how much artists change they're interests, especially when I'm as big a fan of the artist like I am for Gambino.
