Well it's finals week here at UMass and I figured people might need some new music to listen to, whether it be to zone out to while studying, or rage to for one last good weekend.
I have no idea who The Neighbourhood is, I don't know where they are from. What I do know is this song is insanely easy to listen to, catchy, and well made. I also know their EP comes out Monday and I'm psyched to download it. Listen to this song, you won't be sorry.
Next up an original from RAC, who have previously done remixes to Lana Del Rey and Theophilus London. This is just a pretty easy going alternative track that kind of reminds me of The Kooks or something like that. Again really easy to listen to and super up beat.
Next up a remix from Sound Remedy, who I only know from remixing Lupe Fiaso's 'Words I Never Said' and surprisingly Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' and now Ko Ko's 'Float'. Anyways this song's progression is like nothing I've ever heard. This first drop is really clever and hooks you into the song because it's not what you expect, after that its a lot of glitch mixed in with some more mellow breaks.
Everyone seemed to really like 'Crew Love' off of Drake's Take Care album. Well this time around Star Slinger took it and added just enough to give it a fresh take, give it a play.
Not sure how I missed it a few months ago but Project 46 absolutely killed this edit of Alesso's Years. And as an added bonus to that he also threw down on Wild Ones too. Search for a download link for these ones cause they're both quality.
